1. What we collect
- Account data: email, display name, sign-in provider (Apple/Google/email), preferred tradition + language.
- Birth profile data: name, gender, birth date, birth time, birth place (city, lat/lng, timezone). Required to compute charts.
- Activity data: charts you've generated, conversations with the AI, tarot pulls, daily-reading history.
- Billing data: subscription tier and payment-receipt IDs from Razorpay (we never see your card).
- Device data: push-notification tokens, IP address at request time (logged ephemerally for security).
2. Why we use it
To deliver the product (compute charts, run the AI assistant, send notifications you've opted into) and to detect abuse. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers.
3. Who sees it
- You.
- Astrolysis staff, only for support / abuse cases, with audit logging.
- Our sub-processors: Anthropic (the AI; your message + chart context are sent on every Ask), Voyage AI (for retrieval embeddings), Razorpay (for payments), Hostinger SMTP (for email), our hosting provider, Sentry (for error tracking, with PII redacted).
4. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, your data is marked for deletion immediately and hard-removed within 30 days. Razorpay payment records may be retained longer where Indian tax / KYC law requires.
5. Your rights
You can: (a) export everything we have on you, (b) correct any field, (c) delete your account. Just email hello@astrolysis.com from your registered address.
6. Cookies
One first-party cookie for the session (HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax). No third-party tracking cookies.
